2024 ANNUAL AWARDS NOMINATIONS
HOW TO NOMINATE
On a club letterhead, draft your nomination along with the motivation, specifically referring to the criteria, and submit it to ops@cttlfa.com by 26 October 2024.
Clubs may nominate themselves and/or their Members provided they comply with the official nomination criteria (either all or in part) below and are able to motivate and substantiate their nomination appropriately.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee being a winner. Each nomination will be vetted and adjudicated against the criteria by the CTTLFA Management Committee and winners will be announced at the 2024 CTTLFA Annual Awards event.
NOMINATION CRITERIA
1. Club of the Year Award
Criteria:
> Demonstrated exceptional overall performance across all age groups and divisions.
> Actively engaged in community service and outreach programs.
> Showed significant growth or improvement in membership and participation rates.
> Maintained high standards in club management and operations.
2. Community Engagement Award
Criteria:
> Demonstrated outstanding commitment to community involvement and development.
> Organized or participated in community service projects that had a significant impact.
> Engaged club members in activities that promote social responsibility and community values.
3. Innovation in Coaching Award
Criteria:
> Implemented innovative coaching techniques or programs that significantly improved player development.
> Contributed to coaching education by sharing knowledge and resources within the football community.
> Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
4. Youth Development Award
Criteria:
> Excelled in developing young players, with clear pathways for progression from youth to senior levels.
> Achieved notable success in youth leagues or tournaments.
> Demonstrated a commitment to player health, education, and welfare.
5. Fair Play Award
Criteria:
> Exhibited outstanding sportsmanship and fair play throughout the season.
> Recorded minimal or no disciplinary issues among players, coaches, and supporters.
> Promoted a positive game environment and respect for opponents, officials, and fans.
6. Player of the Year Award
Criteria:
> Demonstrated exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and performance throughout the season.
> Significantly contributed to the team’s success in league matches and tournaments.
> Exhibited leadership on and off the field, positively influencing teammates and representing the club’s values.
7. Junior Player of the Year Award
Criteria:
> Showcased outstanding talent, commitment, and improvement in the junior categories (Specify age range, e.g., under 16).
> Played a pivotal role in the team’s performances during the season.
> Demonstrated maturity, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude, serving as a role model for peers.
8. Ladies Player of the Year Award
Criteria:
> Excelled in performance, consistency, and dedication in the women’s division.
> Made significant contributions to the team’s achievements and demonstrated leadership qualities.
> Actively engaged in promoting women’s participation in football and supporting fellow players.
9. Coach of the Year (Senior & Junior)
Criteria:
> Demonstrated exceptional consistent coaching abilities throughout the year.
> Made significant contributions to the team’s achievements and demonstrated leadership qualities.
> Demonstrated maturity, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude, serving as a role model for peers.
Criteria:
> Demonstrated a high level of excellence throughout the season.
> Maintained high standards in discipline throughout the season.
